DIY Screen Printed Flour Sack Towels – Reader Featured Project

DIY Screen Printed Flour Sack Towels - Reader Featured Project

These beautiful DIY Screen Printed Flour Sack Towels were submitted by one of my readers via my new submissions page, and I think they are amazing!!!

Kimberly from Vintage Fragment used my Vintage Bee Hive Transfer Printable to screen print onto flour sack towels.  She didn’t use the typical photo emulsion/screen printing technique.  Instead, she used adhesive vinyl, and old sheer curtain, an embroidery hoop and her Silhouette cutting machine.  Anyone can learn to screen print this way…best of all, no chemicals!

I love that she didn’t have to use any chemicals!  For the full tutorial, including a video, visit Kimberly at her blog, Vintage Fragment, HERE!
