This morning’s reader feature is this gorgeous French Chiffonier, submitted by our friend Kathryn Bauchope. This Chiffonier was originally a dark wood when she purchased it at a local auction. Kathryn replaced the original glass from the doors with chicken wire, and removed one of the cabinet doors in order to make another shelf. She used an Egyptian Cotton chalk paint, and distressed the entire piece. Kathryn transferred my French Typography, and French Chicken image onto the cabinet doors using a wax paper transfer method. This is such a lovely piece!!
Thank you, Kathryn, for sharing your talents with us! To visit more of Kathryn’s projects, please visit her Facebook site here. To learn how to transfer images yourself, visit the Transfer Methods Page.
