Halloween Crow Image or Raven

Halloween Crow Image Raven

This is a fabulous Halloween Crow Image or perhaps it’s a Raven!  This one was scanned from an Antique Print that had both Crows and Ravens on the print, but they weren’t marked so I’m not sure which is which!  Anyway, I think he’s very nicely done either way!  He has jet black Feathers and a brown eye. This is an Engraved image with lovely detail and most likely was hand colored. The print dates to 1859. You might recall his friend from last week, you can find that graphic HERE. They would look great displayed together in your Halloween Decor!

  1. Lovely – Thanks for another super image and yes, this is the crow, the other one the raven!

  2. Gorgeous image!

  3. Looks better in picture, then in my backyard. LOL

  4. Love crows and ravens! Wish I knew how to tell them apart… Thanks so much! :)

  5. Beautifully done. Thank you. I think this is a crow. Ravens are shinier blue black and are taller with more slender bills than crows.

  6. I love this. The feathers are so delicate and well articulated. Thanks so much!

  7. I made Spooky Hallowe’en Tags, featuring your antique raven :-)
