Homemade Christmas Ornaments Reindeer

Step 1: Spray paint the Wooden Reindeer Cut outs. I sprayed the twine hangers on them as well. Allow to dry.

Step 2: Apply a coat of glue (I used Elmer’s School Glue Gel) and sprinkle on the gold glitter evenly to coat the whole front of the Reindeer.

Step 4: Hot glue on the flower embellishments. I got these from Save on Crafts. You could make your own out of Tissue paper.

Super simple, but the gold glitter and the size of the ornaments really make these pop on our Christmas Tree!

  1. Hi Karen, Love this easy diy! I’ll have to see if our store has them. It’s not like a city store so sometimes we miss out on the goods. Fingers crossed they have them. Thanks for the tutorial.

  2. Susan Yarber says:

Your tree is beautiful! Did you make the blue flowers and the blue/multi-color balls? If so, I’m sure all your readers would love the instructions!

    • Karen Watson says:

Thank you Susan! No, I didn’t make those, I’m afraid. I bought the flowers at Michael’s Crafts and the balls are from TJ Maxx. I’ll be posting my home tour on the blog tomorrow, there will be lots of links on it to projects that I did make. Hopefully you will like some of those. :)

  3. This is absolutely stunning!!!!
I was truly hoping this was a reindeer template from the lovely fairy lol butthis is truly an inspiration!!! Im on my way to find a template to recreate this from cardboard at home! ;) thank you again for sharing the sparkle of the season LOL!

  4. I love these! My 5 year old daughter has an ornament exchange next week, and these are so cute with the embellishments. Can’t wait to make some!
