This morning’s reader feature is this adorable Little Boys Room Makeover, submitted by our friend SK Sartell. She wanted to create an awesome room for a little boy named Texas. SK first painted over the original lime green walls with a denim paint technique using a dark blue, and then a light blue glaze. SK decorated the room with old tin toys, some antique vehicles, a hand built Airmail postage stamp shelf, and a hand build Route 66 sign. Using Rock Hard Putty she also created a license plate with the little boys name and birthdate. SK painted the old dresser with red, white, and blue chalk paint. She then transferred my lovely Compass image onto the wall for the final touch. This is such a fun and creative project!
