Thursday is Request Day – Cherries, Sewing, Victorian Boy, Purse

Once again, it’s Thursday so that means it’s request day here at TGF!Here’s what I found for you this week:

Thursday is Request Day - Cherries, Sewing, Victorian Boy, Purse - The Graphics FairyEmma requested a black and white Cherry image. This one comes from an antique Typography book.

Kathy was hoping for some more sewing images. This one is from an antique ladies magazine and shows a young woman cutting out her fabric, using a pattern.

Thursday is Request Day - Cherries, Sewing, Victorian Boy, Purse - The Graphics FairyAn anonymous requester, was hoping for a single image of a child, in order to make dolls to send to foreign missions. I think she said she embroiders them. I found this image , of a little boy in a sailor suit, in a Victorian children’s book and it looks like a good one to stitch!

Well, that’s all for this week. Do you have a request for an image? If so please leave it here in the comments section of my Request Day post, and then check back on Thursday to see if I found your requested image (Sorry but I can’t fill every request, I usually pick a few each week). Each week I go back and check under my Thursday posts to find what your looking for, it’s so much easier for me that way. I’m afraid I’m a very disorganized Fairy, so please, please please Do Not email requests to me, I most likely will loose it if you do. So sorry but I’m a complete mess when it comes to email! I’m afraid they’re just aren’t enough hours in the day to answer them all, and then I feel horribly guilty.

P.S. Don’t forget to use the search box here on my blog, you might find that the image you want is already here!

Lately, I have been particularly interested in your 3 column tan and cream damask blog background. I thought I saw a header with a black bird that coordinated, but I can’t seem to find it again. The black bird was to the left of a center oval/label with a swag of flowers to the rigth. Could you direct me to that one again? Also, is it possible to take off the flower swag? I love the label and the bird. Thank you!
