For the past couple of years, I’ve been on a quest for the perfect Public Domain vintage Crown image. And finally this week… I found it!!! Yay! I’ve had quite a few requests for this image, I have even seen it from time to time, but only in newer publications so I would not have legally been able to share it with you. Then finally this week I found the original source and purchased it. So the fabulous image you see above comes from an 1840’s European Encyclopedia. And what’s even more exciting is that there were many more crowns on the same page as this one, so stay tuned! All of the images were tiny, but I managed to make this much larger and the quality is still perfect for printing. The original was a bit light, shown at the bottom, so I darkened it up some. I included both so that you can decide what you like best. So there it is. I hope you make something fabulous with this, I’m thinking iron on transfer towels, pillows, placemats etc!! Woohoo!
Now I also wanted to say a big Thank you to those of you that have been leaving comments on the Giveaway over at The Creative Connection. You guys are the BEST!!! I am just blown away by all the nice things that you said about my blog. I’ve had a bit of a stomach bug over the past 2 days, and your comments really brightened my mood. Some of your sweet words nearly brought tears to my eyes, and others made me bust out laughing. Anyway, I just wanted you all to know how much I appreciate it. So Thank you so much for that!!!
