With January here, we are all probably wondering where to store some of our new items or maybe move the older items into to make room for the new. Organizing and storage is one of the top priorities of January after all. Well, don’t put it in some boring tote. Instead, check out these 5 gorgeous trunk and locker projects that your stuff will be begging to go into.
I love pretty storage ideas because it makes it so easy to hide stuff in plain site. All of these are reader featured projects that are made with graphics from The Graphics Fairy too!
Jenny, from Ava Blake Creations, used the awesome Vintage Perfume Ad graphic on top of chalk paint Then, she replaced the missing handles with cast iron Blue door knobs. You can read her step by step instructions for this Perfume Ad locket set on her blog.
Elmarie painted this trunk and added The Graphics Fairy’s Fab Vintage French Ephemera Clip Art to the top and front of the trunk! I love the French Country feel that Elmarie gave this trunk! You can see more of her creations at the Creative Corner at The Crafty Cupcake Facebook page.
Jenny, from Ava Blake Creations, created this Wanderlust trunk by covering the inside of this trunk with vintage postage paper for that added travel feel! Then, she freehand drew the Wanderlust and meaning….I adore the feel it gave this piece before adding the antique Compass Rose graphic.
This is a vintage 2 door set of school lockers shared by Ava Blake. She painted them in a custom mix of 2 blue van Gogh Fossil Paints, and left the front in Halo White. She added the Woman at Sea Anchor image to complete the project.
This vintage Halloween trunk is another great project from Jenny at Ava Blake Creations. The trunk is a combination of chalk paint and several awesome images like vintage Poison Labels and some images from a 1808 poem called “The Grave”, all from the Graphics Fairy.
