This evening’s reader featured project is a Beautiful Painted Buffet that is being shared by John A Rowe! John originally built this as a large TV cabinet, and has cut down and revamped it as a buffet! He painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg Blue and Old White, while the feet have various layers of grey and yellow, and were finally dry brushed with old white. He then downloaded The Graphics Fairy’s Antique Clip Art – Early Italian Ephemera and added it to the back with Mod Podge! He sealed it with Mod Podge as well, then lightly distressed and waxed the entire piece!
Wow, John! What an amazing job! I know you said that you are trying to figure out what to put on the shelves, but I am swooning over the pieces that are in the photos! You can see more of John’s amazing work on his Pinterest Page, HERE! He is a very talented illustrator! Thank you so much for sharing, John!
