Today’s reader feature is this beautiful Black Damask Refrigerator, submitted by our friend SK Sartell. SK thinks that refrigerators in solid colors are plain and ugly, so she decided to spice this one up. She first sanded the entire fridge, painted with her custom flat black chalk paint, and then stenciled the pattern in a gloss black. SK transferred my French Grains Sack with Wheat Wreath image onto the right door of the fridge. She then used a black and cream damask tissue paper using satin poly to decoupage. She also used some other materials including a chocolate glaze, Hard Rock Putty, and some fun knobs to create this awesome piece.
This is such a fun project! Thank you, SK, for sharing your talents with us! To visit more of SK’s projects, please visit her Blog site here. To learn how to transfer images yourself, visit the Transfer Methods Page.
