Today’s reader feature is a gorgeous Chalk Painted Antique Cabinet with French Typography. This beautiful furniture makeover was submitted by Suzi from Reborn In Style, and I think it is stunning! Suzi scored this cabinet on Ebay, and it was in really poor condition. The veneer was peeling off, and there were many cracks and dents. It was necessary to repair all of the damaged areas with wood filler. Suzi painted it with Annie Sloan Old White and applied 3 coats for full coverage. She then applied my French Transfer Printable – Wine Theme- French Typography using a blender pen, and then distressed the entire piece using 120 grit sandpaper. She finished it off using a dark wax glaze and Annie Sloan Clear Wax for protection! I love the way it turned out! You can view the full tutorial at Suzi’s blog, Reborn In Style, HERE!
