This amazing mariner’s compass table was submitted by one of my readers, Kelly, using my new submission page. Isn’t it beautiful?
Kelly painted this table with Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in French Linen, Provence, and Cream. She chose Siesta Key, her favorite beach in her hometown of Sarasota, Florida. Using vinyl letters and stencils, she painted out the name and coordinates on the tabletop, and finished it off with my Vintage Clip Art Compass. She printed the graphic on parchment paper, burned the edges, and used Mod Podge to apply it to the table. She then covered it in Annie Sloan’s clear and dark waxes.
Thank you so much for sharing with us, Kelly! It’s so unique and gorgeous! You can find Kelly’s other amazing transformations on her facebook page, Dresser Up, HERE!
