Today’s reader feature is a beautiful DIY Painted Wine box that was submitted by Mary from Vintage Reflections. The previous owners of Mary’s home left a wine box behind, and she decided to give it a makeover after using it as a planter all summer. Here is the before…
She started by painting the box with Raw Umber by Americana, then painted it with some homemade white furniture paint. She sanded it in spots to give it a worn look. To finish it off, she added The Graphics Fairy’s Transfer Printable-French Typography-Cocao using the Goo-Gone Transfer Method! She lightly rubbed it with a cloth, then used the back of a spoon to burnish it. This was Mary’s first transfer, and I think it turned out amazing!!!
