Today I’m so pleased to be able to share with you a fabulous before and after project submitted by reader Diedre Gray! Diedre does not have a blog, but she generously allowed me to post the photos here for you all to see! (Update: Diedre just started her own blog, you can find it HERE!!)
Diedre used the French Grain sack Monogram that I created, above, for her project. You can find the PDF, in reverse format, HERE.
And here we see the full view of the chair after. Diedre purchased the unbleached cotton fabric at Joanne’s for only $20. She then used the Citra Solv transfer technique found HERE to transfer the image onto the fabric. Next she used a staple gun to attach the fabric and trimmed off the excess. And finally she added some nail head trim, purchased from an online upholstery supply store, and used a rubber hammer to attach it.
