This is such an amazing cover to some early antique sheet music!! The cover features 2 gorgeous angels flying above. I just adore anything with angels!! I also love the beautiful sepia tones on this one. Great for those Christmas collages! Make sure you click on the image to bring up the largest size!!
Karen, That is a beautiful sheet music cover. It’s very ironic that you posted this because I found some vintage sheet music this week dated 1932. How old does something have to be before the copyright is expired and it can be shared? This sheet music had a very cute Christmas silhouette of a family in front of a fireplace and I thought it might be enjoyed by others who frame silhouettes or who might want to use it in a craft. If you would like me to send it to you to post I would be more than happy to do so. Thanks for your help. Jane
Karen: Thanks for getting back with me and for the valuable information. I knew at some point printed material became public domain but I wasn’t sure exactly how old it had to be before it was “safe”. I guess I will just have to use this for a personal project. Thanks again for your help. Jane
What a beautiful piece! Couldn’t have come at a better time…my mother-in-law passed away today. I printed it out to remind me that she’s an angel now : ) Thank you!
The artwork on that sheet music cover is very nice. You have excellent taste Karen! And thank you for following my blog. I am overjoyed that they pleased you.
