Today’s reader feature is this is this Beautiful Framed Wall Decor, submitted by our friend Virginia Bittinger. Virginia first applied 2 coats of slick stick onto the glass of the picture frame and then used a coat of fluff paint color as the base. She printed our Gorgeous Antique Birds on A Branch image using a laser printer, cut to size, and then applied Dixie Belle clear coat onto the glass and image. Next she pressed the image face down on to the glass and let it sit overnight until completely dry. After it was dry she sprayed with water and let the paper soak so that the paper can be rubbed away leaving only the image on the glass. She finished this piece by painting the frame using crackle paint and then applied an apricot color on top. Virginia sealed the image with a clear coat, and added a glaze.
