Today’s reader feature is this Gorgeous Jane Austen Junk Journal, submitted by our friend Lynne Morgado. Lynne created this Journal using book covers from Readers Digest that she covered with a faux leather technique. Each page of the journal was made from a few pages of a book sewn together to make a base. She used several materials for the embellishments on each page which includes: lace, buttons, tags, envelopes, etc. Lynne used my Regency Fashion Plate – Jane Austen image, and one of my Friday Freebie images to help create this beautiful piece. This piece is filled with several Journaling cards, tags, and a whole lot more. This piece is a Journalist dream!
This is such a lovely project! Thank you, Lynne, for sharing your talents with us! To visit more of Lynne’s projects, please visit her Instagram site here. To learn how to transfer images yourself, visit the Transfer Methods Page.
