Do you love to embellish…you know…put a little special touch on a gift…package and such? Well if you answered yes…these pretty fluttering butterflies are perfect for you. Any easy craft and the results are precious. Search the many Butterflies on The Graphics Fairy and find the ones that are perfect for you and the we are ready to being.
You will need a few simple supplies: Glitter, printed images X 2, scissors, glue of choice and a brush.
Cut your images out…you will need 2 of the exact same graphic for each butterfly.
Choose the area on the butterfly that you would like to glitter and apply glue to that area…shake some glitter on the glue and then shake the excess glitter off and allow to dry for about 5 minutes.
Place some glue on the center of the back of a butterfly and then place on to of the other exact same one…press and allow to dry.
Once good and dry simply fold the top butterflies wings upwards and viola! Now have fun with the…you can apply them so many places…cards…tags…
or how about a flower pot for Mom. I got this vintage looking tin at the Dollar Store and the plant at a local greenhouse. I applied the butterflies to the tin and made a decorative stick by attaching butterflies to a skewer…a perfect little touch. A great gift for $5 total. I am sure you have some ideas of your own and I hope you have fun putting your special spin on a great project.
Apply them any where.
Just a special little something.
Enjoy…once you start making them you won’t be able to stop!
See you very soon for another project…in the mean time…I would love to see you over at
The Cottage Market if you a little time to say hello!
