You may have seen photos of my Kitchen on this blog before. It hasn’t really changed much since this photo was taken, except for updating the hardware. It’s a nice bright white space, it’s functional, and there is nothing wrong with it. However there are things that I would love to change!
When we built this house, we had to work within our budget, so we got a nice kitchen, but not our dream kitchen. I have a lot of things on my wish list! I would love to reface the cabinets, with something a bit creamier in color, and glazed doors. And a little more detail on the trim would be nice too. Our counter tops are made of Formica… I dream of Granite, or White Marble, or maybe a combination of both! I would also like to have dark hardwood floors instead of the vinyl floor that we have now. And I’ve always lusted after those gorgeous farmhouse sinks! Of course if we’re going all out, Stainless Steel appliances would be awesome too.
It’s good to know that all of these things can be made possible at Home Depot. Did you know Home Depot, has 3 options for making your Kitchen Cabinet dreams come true? They can Replace, Reface, or Renew your cabinets.
Replace is just as it sounds, the old cabinets come out and gorgeous new ones go in. Reface is what I would like to have done, you keep your existing cabinets, and they replace the doors, trim etc. This is a nice option if you want to keep the same footprint that you have, it’s typically less costly then replacing the cabinets, and it takes a lot less time. They can also renew your cabinets, by refinishing your existing cabinets, I didn’t even know they did that! Of course they can also, do the other things on my list too, like replace the Counter Tops, put in the Wood Floors and all of that. For more info, watch the video above. I’m guessing some of you guys have things you want to change in your kitchens too. Do you have a dream wish list for your Kitchen?
