This beautiful Painted Box with French Typography was shared by Cyndi from CeeCee Studio, and I adore it! She applied two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint to a box, then rubbed on one coat of Annie Sloan Clear wax, and used 220 grade sandpaper to distress the edges and corners. Cyndi printed out a reverse image of my Paris Apartment Sign graphic and applied it to the box using a paintbrush to apply the gel medium to the top of the box. She made sure to rub out all of the bubbles and wrinkles using an old credit card. Once she was finished, Cyndi added a coat of Annie Sloan wax to seal and protect the box! I think it turned out wonderfully! To view the full tutorial, please visit Cyndi’s blog, CeeCee Studio, HERE!
