Today’s reader featured project is a beautiful painted french crate that was submitted by Alessandra from Daisy Garden! Alessandra painted this crate, distressed it a bit, then transferred The Graphics Fairy’s French Typography – Patisserie – Bakery image onto it using nail polish remover! She uses this pretty crate as a table now!
It is absolutely gorgeous! To see this project and more of Alessandra’s creativity, visit her blog, Daisy Garden!

How do I translate Daisy Garden’s blog to English? thanks!
Karen Watson says
Magi, If you download Chrome it will translate the blog for you, or you can use Google Translate and cut and paste it into the box. Alessandra used Acetone, which is the same method as the Citra Solv method, but Citra Solv is hard to find outside of the U.S., so Acetone is a good replacement for it.

Instructions for French crate a little difficult to follow since they are not in English.
Karen Watson says
Hi Debbie, Please read my comment above. Thanks!

Could you translate that? When I go to googletranslate.com, I get some kind of ad that you are supposed to participate in that I don’t want to do. I would really like to know how she did the transfer using nail polish remover.
Karen Watson says
Hi Elaine, She used Acetone to transfer this, which is very similar to the Citra Solv method found here https://thegraphicsfairy.com/crafty-project-grain-sack-kitchen-towels-diy/ I hope that helps!
