Today’s reader feature was submitted by Stefanie, who shared her stunning Refinished French Butterfly Dresser. Her friend passed on the dresser to her, and she knew she wanted to dress it up with a fun graphic. After finding the French Wreath with Butterfly Graphic, she decided to paint the dresser in duck egg blue chalk paint. Then, she used a fine grit sandpaper to distress the edges and corners. Using an overhead projector, she displayed the image onto the front of the dresser and used chalk to trace the outline. Next, she filled in the graphic with white paint. Stefanie lightly distressed the lettering once she was finished painting the dresser, and then finished it with a coat of wax paste.
