Over on my Facebook page, Indra requested some coral hued Coral. This engraving is from an early Natural History book, it was black and white originally, so I changed the color.
OklahomaRedHead was wishing for a Silhouette of a Cocker Spaniel. This was actually an engraving as well, so I converted it for her.
Raija was hoping for a vintage Drum image. This is yet another one of the Victorian game cards from my collection.
And lastly, Ginny wanted a Banjo image. This little black and white one, is from an antique Dictionary.
Well, that’s all for this week. Do you have a request for an image? If so please leave it here in the comments section of my Request Day post, and then check back on Thursday to see if I found your requested image (Sorry but I can’t fill every request, I usually pick a few each week). Each week I go back and check under my Thursday posts to find what your looking for, it’s so much easier for me that way. I’m afraid I’m a very disorganized Fairy, so please, please please Do Not email requests to me, I most likely will loose it if you do. So sorry but I’m a complete mess when it comes to email! I’m afraid they’re just aren’t enough hours in the day to answer them all, and then I feel horribly guilty.
P.S. Don’t forget to use the search box here on my blog, you might find that the image you want is already here!

I love your blog, Karen, and appreciate that you take requests. But I’ve never been able to get the search box to work for me. Is it just my computer???

Erin,
That’s weird! I just tried it, and it’s working fine for me. Here’s a tip though. I actually have a second search bar, it’s hidden, but I’ll tell you how to find it. Take your mouse up to the very top left hand corner of my blog, and let it hover there for a second. The nav bar will appear, and you can use the search up there. I hope that helps!

My search button doesn’t work either! But I was hoping for an image of a Newsboy

YAY! Another game piece; thank you so much.
Can you find some fortune-teller images, or things related to fortune-telling, like crystal balls, etc,?

Thankyou-thankyou for the banjo! My husband plays and I’ve been wanting to make something for him – maybe a freezer paper stencil t-shirt!
BTW, I checked the copyright info on the children’s books I was looking through and they were old but not pre-1923.

I’m looking for a vintage image of a little girl at the beach, preferably with clam shells. Do you know if you have anything?

I am looking for some sort of vintage graphic and border that would be suitable to make into bookmarks and writing a person’s name on it. I can’t seem to find something that works. I am a newbie crafter so perhaps that is my problem!!
