My husband and I were out shopping at our favorite “antique & used” book store today. I didn’t find much, but I did get this pretty antique children’s book. After I paid for it, my husband asked me what I got. I told him it was a book about us. Then I showed him the cover… he wasn’t amused. I on the other hand thought it was hilarious and got a good chuckle out of it all the way back to the car! Anyway, I hope you like this brightly colored cover of “Beauty and the Beast“.

Love it Karen!
I thought of you repeatedly, actually yesterday as I was wallpapering my studio wall with an old nursery rhyme book, Called the “Blue Fairy Book.” It “was” and old fairy tale book of the Originals, complete with black and white, (well, now creme) images that were pretty fun.
Looks fun on the wall, I love it, but I thought, shoot, maybe I should have sent this off to Karen first!
Well, there were about 5 color images that I DIDN’T use, that I’d be happy to send to you,,,let me know if you’d like them! They’re pretty fun. I can check the copyright or dates of the illustrations,,,,or even try and scan them to you,,if you want to help the computer challenged! : )
Also, I’m having a giveaway over on my blog, if you want to stop over and enter!
Enjoy your weekend with “The Beast!”
Hugs,
Shell

Thanks Nancy!
Hi Shelly,
It sounds like an awesome way to decorate your studio!! If the book was published before 1923, I would love to have scans of the color pages, if it’s not too much trouble that is! If you scan them at 300 dpi, that should work out fine. You probably get a pop up window when you scan something, and you should be able to change the dpi in that window. Thanks for offering! I’m heading over to check out the giveaway!

P.S. The Beast is in his recliner right now, he’s easily tamed!
