Today’s reader featured project is a beautiful Vintage Jewelry Box from Mary at Vintage Reflections! Mary loves old wooden boxes, so she bought this simple vintage jewelry / trinket box at an antique flea market and was told it was over 100 years old. She loved that it had a history and especially loves that it now has a new French look! Mary painted the box in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White. She sanded it a little to reveal the dovetail detail on the joints that she loves, and she even sanded the hardware to reveal a little of the gold on it! She then transferred The Graphics Fairy’s Eiffel Tower Picture, French Typography Printable – Bijouterie, and French Chic Transfer Printable to the top and front to give it a real French feel!
It turned out so pretty! To view this project and many more beautiful transformations, visit Mary’s blog, Vintage Reflections!
