Today’s reader feature is this lovely DIY Butcher Sign & Wood Transfer Technique, from Anita. She was searching for a better way to transfer graphics onto wood, and while experimenting she added a step and deviated a bit from traditional directions. You can see on her blog step by step directions on the method she used. After figuring out the best way, she decided to make this lovely miniature butcher sign. She stained a rectangular slab of wood, and then transferred the Butcher Pig Graphic using the Mod Podge Method. Lastly she sanded it a bit, and then added a rusted handle for hanging.
I love the way this turned out! Thank you, Anita, for sharing this with us today! See the full tutorial and other projects on her blog! To learn how to transfer images yourself, visit the Transfer Methods Page.
