The Reveal
Some of you may recall my previous post where I was in the process of selecting a color for our Master Bathroom, using Glidden® Paint. Well, this is it, today is the day that I get to reveal our newly painted and decorated Master Bath!
Also, be sure and comment at the bottom of this post to be entered to win the $100 Visa Gift Card!
I took a photo at night too, so that you could see how pretty the curtains look. It’s so hard to photograph them with the light coming in behind them. The curtains tie in the blue from the Master Bedroom, to give a more cohesive look to the whole space, without having to paint both rooms blue.
I’m so pleased with the light and airy feel of the room. If you notice the ceiling above, that was the original color of the walls. I like the contrast of the lighter color of the vaulted ceilings against the creamier tan color of the walls.
This is my husband’s sink. We purchased new light fixtures and my stepson installed them for us.
This is my sink. I also added faux orchids on both sides of the room. I could do with a few more accessories, but that’s okay, I can take my time doing that.
I found a sweet little Pillow with some Paisley embroidery, to accent the Iron Garden Chair in the corner.
Selecting the Perfect Color
I went with Glidden Duo™ Paint, which is Paint and Primer all together in one can. Yay! I used Eggshell so that my walls will have a slight sheen and be easier to clean than with a flat paint. I purchased my paint at Home Depot, but you can also find Glidden® paint at Walmart and other fine retailers.
The Before
This was my bathroom before. Just sort of blah with its builder’s beige paint.
It’s amazing what a difference a simple thing like paint can make to a home, and trust me it is simple, everyone can paint. You can totally do this too! If you’re at all scared, use the Glidden paint’s color tools like I did, they really do take a lot of the guesswork out of the process.
The vaulted ceilings really stand out now and the room is so serene and lovely. I just need to hem those curtains now, or raise the curtain rod, I haven’t decided which way to go on that yet! I hope you enjoyed this reveal!

I love it! Calm and just perfectly lovely without extra clutter. You are quite the designer as well as an expert blog writer. I desperately need to update my mobile home from the bedrooms dark wall. I want to paint the Master bedroom walls in med to light green and then stencil birch trees on the wall facing the bed.
Thanks for the peek at your rooms!

We just redid our master bathroom – changed everything but the cabinets and the tub! We went with Sherwin-Williams paint color called Gray Matters.
Love your bathroom color too.

Interesting…your choice was my choice too when looking at the swatches…give everything a bright, but calm feel and look! Quite the transformation – from blah to this is my haven of comfort!
