Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information The Graphics Fairy LLC (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to:
- The Graphics Fairy blog at https://thegraphicsfairy.com/ (the “Blog”)
- The Graphics Fairy Premium Membership at https://members.thegraphicsfairy.com/ (the “Membership”)
Together we call these the “Sites.” Some sections apply only to the Blog or only to the Membership, and we say so where that is the case. In particular, the Membership is ad-free: the advertising, affiliate, and ad-measurement tools described below run on the Blog only.
This policy also covers emails and messages between you and us. It does not cover information collected offline or by third-party websites we link to, which have their own policies.
By using the Sites, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.
Children’s Privacy
The Sites are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe this has happened, please email [email protected].

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Sites, we and our partners automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.
Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to remember your preferences, keep you signed in to the Membership, and understand how the Sites are used. On the Blog, advertising and analytics partners also use cookies, pixels, and similar tools, as described in the Advertising and Analytics section below.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as signing in to the Membership, may not work without them.
Information from others. Our payment processors confirm whether a Membership payment succeeded. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details.

How long we keep it. We keep Membership account information for as long as your account is active, plus any period needed for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. We keep newsletter information until you unsubscribe. We keep support messages as long as needed to help you and keep reasonable records. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Advertising and Analytics
Display advertising (Blog only).
CMI Marketing, Inc., d/b/a Raptive (“Raptive”) is a service provider of this Site for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site, and Raptive will collect and use certain data for advertising purposes. To learn more about Raptive’s data usage, click here: https://raptive.com/creator-advertising-privacy-statement
The Membership site does not show ads.
Google Analytics (Blog and Membership). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Sites, such as which pages are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device, and pages viewed. We may connect Google Analytics with Google advertising features. You can learn how Google uses this information in the Google Privacy Policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Meta pixel (Blog only). We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the Blog. The pixel collects information such as the pages you visit and actions you take on the Blog. Meta’s use of this information is described in the Meta Privacy Policy. You can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Pinterest (Blog only). The Blog uses Pinterest’s “Save” button so you can pin images. The button loads from Pinterest’s servers, which lets Pinterest receive information such as your IP address, browser, and the page you are viewing, and it may set cookies. Pinterest’s use of this information is described in the Pinterest Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links (Blog only). Some Blog posts contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. The merchant uses a cookie to credit the sale; we do not receive your personal purchase details. The Graphics Fairy LLC is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
Email tracking. Our emails contain small tracking pixels that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We use this to improve our newsletters. You can turn off image loading in your email program to block this.
Comments and Community Posts
Comments on the Blog, including your name, are public. To prevent spam, comments are checked by Akismet, a service from Automattic; see the [Automattic Privacy Policy](https://automattic.com/privacy/). Posts, photos, and profile details you share in the Membership community can be seen by other Members. Please do not share anything there you want kept private.
Your Choices
- Emails: Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email, or email us.
- Cookies: Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Personalized ads on the Blog: Use the “Do not sell or share my personal information” link at the bottom of every Blog page. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at networkadvertising.org.
- Global Privacy Control: If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information on the Blog, as required by law.
- Not sharing information: You can choose not to give us information, though some features, such as the Membership, require it.
If You Are in the European Union or United Kingdom
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we are the controller of your personal data. We process it on these legal bases:
- Consent, such as for newsletters and, where required, advertising cookies
- Contract, to provide your Membership
- Legitimate interests, such as running and securing the Sites and understanding how they are used, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights
- Legal obligation, such as keeping tax records
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected].
Your US State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Access a copy of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not intentionally collect it)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
Sale and sharing. We do not sell your email address or contact details. However, on the Blog, our advertising partners collect information such as browsing activity, device identifiers, and inferences about interests to show relevant ads. Some state laws treat this as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. In the past 12 months, we have disclosed these categories for advertising purposes: identifiers (such as IP address and cookie IDs), internet activity, and inferences.
To opt out, click “Do not sell or share my personal information” at the bottom of any Blog page, or use a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Categories we collect (past 12 months): identifiers (name, email, IP address, cookie IDs); customer records (name and billing address for Members); commercial information (Membership purchases); internet activity (pages viewed and interactions); and inferences used for advertising. We collect them for the purposes in How We Use Information and keep them as described there.
How to make a request. Email [email protected] with your request and enough information for us to verify your identity. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days (or tell you if we need up to 45 more days). If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will answer your appeal within the time required by your state’s law.
California “Shine the Light.” California residents may ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. Email [email protected].
Nevada. We do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. Nevada residents may still email us to submit an opt-out request.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the date below. For significant changes, we may also notify Members by email.
