8 Black and White Cat Clipart
Today we have a splendid collection of Black and White Cat Clipart! Our cat lovers will adore these Sweet Vintage and Retro Kitty Cat Pictures. As a kid I was crazy about Cats, but unfortunately I became allergic to them as an adult. So illustrations like these, are about as close as I get to these sweet creatures anymore. I just adore their cute faces! We have a nice mix of Engravings and Silhouettes. I think some of these would be nice to use on Handmade Note cards, and fun to color in too. These antique and vintage pictures are perfect for Digital Collage or your Mixed Media projects!
Early Cat Images
This is the newest addition to this collection. This is an early Cat image, that dates to the beginning of the 1800’s. He is a bit primitive looking and has a funny sort of look on his face! He appears to have Calico type markings on him.
Vintage Black and White Cat Clipart
Above is a darling Cats Download Image! Featured here are 3 Cute Kitties! The Cat in the center is wearing a little sign around his neck. The sign is blank and would be a great place to add your own text.
Pictured above is a wonderful Public Domain Download Girl with Cat Engraving!! Scanned from a Circa 1868 Children’s Magazine, this Old Fashioned Image shows a beautiful Illustration of a little Victorian Girl bringing a Bowl of Milk to a cute Kitty Cat!
Old Cat Portrait Clip Art
Above is an interesting Vintage Cat Shield Image! Featured is a rustic looking Wooden Shield with a cute Cat on the front of it! I’m not sure of the meaning of it, but her face is very cute! It comes from a book in my collection; it’s a rare Circa 1907 Pyrography Catalog! The catalog is full of patterns, tools and accessories for the art of Pyrography, which is when you burn a design into wood. This intricate design would have been used for that purpose, and added to boxes or small furniture pieces.
I’m calling this one a Vintage Steampunk Cat Image! Shown above is an odd, but fun, illustration of a Black Cat with Clocks for Eyes! Sooo Steampunk looking. I hope you can find a fun use for him! This is an image scanned from a very rare printer’s book in my collection! There’s no date in the book, but my best guess would be that it’s from around the 1880′s.
Antique Cat Silhouettes
Here we have a darling Antique Silhouette Girl with Cat Image! This one is from a circa 1872 children’s book, and is filled with the most precious silhouettes!!! Featured above is a cute Silhouette of a girl and a Cat. The little girl is holding a pitcher of something, I’m guessing it’s Milk, and the Cat is lapping it up! Such a cute scene! Scanned from a Circa 1870′s Children’s Book from London, this one is truly great. It features two sweet little girls tasting something from a spoon. There’s even a cute Cat! This would be nice to use on a cooking or baking blog, for decorating a recipe box for your kitchen, or perhaps to transfer onto a child’s apron. So fun!
Black and White Cat Advertising Graphics
Pictured above is a darling antique advertising trade card! This one features two Kittens in a pair of children’s high top shoes. There is a darling little Dog who’s pulling the tail of one of the Kittys from a hole in the toe of a shoe!! The typography is so much fun on this one.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Black and White Cat Clipart!! You might also like the Over 50 Images in our Dog and Cat Archives HERE or the Over 1200 Images in our Black and White Clipart Archives HERE!

Hi Karen,
These are so cute! The girl holding the bowl of milk for the cat is adorable. There is full concentration between the two – she’s careful not to spill any and the cat is calmly waiting on its best behaviour as if he’s being rewarded. How cute!
The Steampunk cat with clock eyes should meet his twin – mine! That is when his internal clock knows it’s time for his thyroid pill. LOL! That one is hilarious!
And the two inside the boots with the dog nipping at the tail? Well, again – the expression on that cat’s face is very, very similar to mine when it’s medication time…..LOL! From twins to triplets! LOL!
Thanks so much for sharing these with us! Really makes me laugh!!
Thank you and have a wonderful day!!

My sister was the president of AK Crafters in Anchorage, organizing and attending craft bazaars, the state fairs in Palmer, and Renaissance Festivals. She passed away in 2016 just before Halloween. I subscribe to your weekly newsletter because the darling illustrations helps me keep my dear sister’s heart beating. It beats with mine inside of me. Thank you so much.
