12 Calendar Birthday Month Image Headings

Today we have a very cute collection of Vintage Calendar Headings! These are very charming illustrations scanned from a late 1930’s or early 1940’s Printers Catalog. Each month shows a sweet scene showing children playing outside and the name of the month. These would be great to use for Calendars of course, but could also make very cute Birthday cards as you could include the appropriate month for the recipient on the card. It could even be cute to put on the back of the card or inside even, if you didn’t want to use it on the front. These would work well in Bullet Journals also! I hope you have fun using these sweet images in your creative projects!

Calendar Birthday Month Images

Above is a Fun Vintage January Calendar Heading Image! Shown is a black and white picture used for an old Calendar! There is a Winter scene with two children riding a Flyer type sled down a hill in a snowstorm. One of their parents is waiting below. The oval frame has little nosegays of pinecones, pine boughs, and ribbons at the sides.

Here we have a cute Vintage February Calendar Image used for an old Calendar. This one is all about Valentine’s Day with flowers and cupids at each side. Inside the Heart shaped central image are a boy and girl holding hands. The girl is holding a heart as well. Behind them are two love birds on a limb. This one is just so adorable!

March winds are on display in this Vintage March Calendar Heading Oval Image! It has a landscape scene that visually displays driving winds. There are two children walking into then scene along with three bunnies playing on a hill and a bird flying in the sky. I love the Pussy Willow branches that decorate the sides of the frame.

Pictured above is a sweet Vintage April Image! This is a superb picture that was used as a heading for a vintage Calendar! In this scene, two children are outside in the April showers. The boy holds an unopened umbrella as the little girl runs behind. They are going through a Tulip garden as the rain falls around them. Notice how the trees don’t have leaves yet. There are Tulips, Daffodils, and Iris Floral designs at each side. It portrays Spring beautifully!

The fun times of May are on display in this Vintage May Calendar Heading Image! Shown above is a sweet drawing of two barefooted children dancing around the May Pole. They hold the long ribbons, which have flowers on the ends. The sides of the circular center image show flowers and some little bees. Enchanting!

Here are the latest additions to this collection. As promised I’ve got a few more of these cuties for you today! Here we see the June Happy Birthday Month image with a gone fishing theme! Shown are sweet girl and boy, along with their dog. The boy is showing off his catches for the day, so many fish!

Next we have July with loads of fireworks and stars! The little boy in the scene is setting off several fireworks and enjoying the display.

And next we have August. Such a hot month, no wonder the person in the picture is taking a dip in a cool pond! It’s framed up with some cute doodle flowers and a couple of Butterflies. Cute!

Next we have the September image. It looks like back to school to me! We’ve got books and Fall leaves and a little girl heading off to school with her lunch box.

Here is the October Birthday Month image. This one shows all things Halloween, including Pumpkins, Bats and Bobbing for Apples. So fun!

The November Picture shows a poor Turkey being chased by a little boy. Run Turkey run!! The frame is decorated with wheat and Fall harvest fruit and vegis.

And we end with the December Calendar image which shows a charming Christmas scene.

Hi Karen,

What I like about these headings is each month really depicts certain things like Feb. with love, March with the brisk winds, April known for rain and showers, and so forth. So, they really are very unique in that sense. Thanks so much for finding these for us! I have to return later on to check out the other graphics you have lined up for us – it’s been a very busy weekend!

BTW – The cute Violets Calendar you referenced, like 2022, starts on a Saturday and is also not a leap year. Can be used for this year. Win-Win.

Can’t wait for the rest. I would love to make a calendar out of these. They are beautiful! Is there any way you could let us know what book they came out of? I would like to look it up. Thank you so much for your generosity. Have a wonderful 2022!

  Thank you Laura! It’s not actually a book, but more of a paper catalog for a print shop. It was called Typeps, it’s quite rare and hard to find. Happy 2022 to you too!
