I love to have a pretty calendar on my desk! Our gorgeous first Calendar was designed 5 years ago. Since then, we have had numerous requests each year for an updated version. So here it is. Our Free Printable 2023 Calendar is ready for you here on The Graphics Fairy. It is just beautiful! Flora, birds, and the occasional child or Angel are included. It was created just for you by one of our favorite designers, Anja from On a Whimsical Adventure. Anja used images from our Premium Membership Site HERE, to create this gorgeous Calendar! Our Premium Members receive amazing beautiful Printables every week on our Membership site, but this one was especially made just for our blog readers. You can print all of the pages of our charming Vintage Floral themed Printable CD Calendar below. Scroll to the end of the tutorial to download the high resolution PDF files. Our 2023 Printable CD Case Calendar
{These are the same instructions as last year, no need to reinvent the wheel here, so as you see the photos show last years calendar, but the instructions work for any year that we offer this Printable.}We love our compact CD Case Calendars. The CD Case Calendar adds a custom designer touch to your desk. We will show you how to turn an ordinary jewel case into a calendar display easel. Each month is personalized with its own lovely image. This is a quick, easy, and very affordable gift for the man in your life, a special teacher, or office teammates. All you need to do is print out the PDF pages, trim the edges, and place them on a CD jewel case. It is truly that simple to create a useful handmade token gift.
CD Printable 2023 Calendar Tutorial
You can purchase pre-made calendar CD cases or you can make your own out of a CD jewel case you already own. Here are the easy-to-follow directions for our DIY Free Printable Calendar 2022. Select a CD case. I prefer a slim one, but any jewel case you have on hand should work. For this tutorial, I will use a two tone case so you can better see the steps.
Carefully separate the top cover from the bottom cover.
Do this carefully, because you do not want to break the tiny plastic pins that are on the little hinges. (See below) That is what holds the entire piece together.
Flip both pieces over so that the inside is facing down. Reattach them with the outsides facing each other. It will form an angled easel as you see in the step below.
Carefully attach the side back together. The inside of each piece will be outside now.
Slowly turn the front clear piece toward the blue back. (Note: Yours may not have a blue piece.) Stop when you hear a little click. DO NOT force it or it will close all the way and break.
This is what it will look like now.
Here is another bulkier one folded backwards.
Print Your Monthly Calendar
Print your calendar from our Free Printable 2023 Calendar at the end of this tutorial. Do not scale it down or up. It is the perfect size. I printed these on white cardstock but any heavy paper will do.
(Again we used last years instructions, your printable will be for 2023!) Trim the sides, top, and bottom close to the print area. Adjust as needed based on your case. Some like to tear the top edge instead of cutting.
Place the month on the front of the case. There are little tabs that hold it nicely in place. On my case there is also a thin ledge for it to rest on.
NOTE: You may need to trim the bottom to fit your case. Take your time with this. Anja designed some play room on both the top and bottom edges. Option: I like to tear my top edge for a more rustic vintage look!
Store the extra months underneath so you will have them handy.
Have fun creating this lovely freebie!

THank you for the lovely calendar, I will check back for the edited October x
Karen Watson says
Hi Angela, it’s all fixed now. I’m glad you like it!
Susan says
I’m curious, is the spelling for the month of October meant to be spelled as Oktober?
Karen Watson says
Hi Susan, Oh my, I didn’t even notice that! Our designer lives in Belgium so that may be how they spell it there. I will ask her to correct it and will upload it when I get it back from her. Check back in about a week. Thanks for catching that!
Sarah says
Hello. Is there any way to download the calendar for 2021? I couldn’t find it anywhere. Thank you.
graphicsfairy says
Hi Sarah, you have to save each image to your computer and then print them out. The post says, “You can print all of the pages of our charming Vintage Floral themed Printable CD Calendar below. Scroll to the end of the tutorial to download the high resolution PDF files.+ By downlaod it means to save to your computer, just right click on the image and select save as, name it and click save 🙂 I hope that helps.

Mine didn’t download as PDF files? I clicked on the blue link under the pictures but had to load to my picture files?
graphicsfairy says
Hi Sharon, were you able to save it to your computer so you could pull it up to print?
Eileen Dean says
When I print calendar pages they print at 3 1/2 x 4 9/16. I have my printer set at 100%. The height is right but not the width so I can’t print it larger. What to do?
Also may I ask, do premium members pay for prints and bundles or are they covered in the cost of membership?
Karen Watson says
Hi Eileen, I just tested it out on my printer and mine are printing out at 4″ by 5 1/4″. Are you using the links for the PDF printables? Make sure you are clicking on the links underneath each calendar page and not on the picture of the calendar page. Premium members get everything included instantly when they join, all bundles, printables, craft videos, PSE videos and all the mini courses too. There is nothing extra to pay for. We hope to see you over there, we think you will enjoy it! 😊
