6 Tennis Racket Clip Art

Today we have a fun collection of Tennis Racket Clip Art! These old tennis graphics include a cute little girl holding a racket as she is about to hit the court. Scale drawings of rackets of the day are included along with a nice silhouette of two tennis players. It is amazing how much more advanced tennis and other sports equipment is today, but the basics of sports like golf and tennis really hasn’t changed that much! All are splendid pictures to use in your craft or DIY Projects. They would all be fun for your Mixed Media or Masculine Card Making projects as well! Perhaps you can use one to make something for a Tennis loving friend.

Tennis Racket Clip Art

This is an old dictionary image of a couple of tennis rackets. The top one is more heavy duty as you can see by the thick wooded shaft. The number 2 racket is longer with a smaller head and thinner shaft. It is most likely a lighter racket than number 1. I imagine that both of them were the top of the line at that time in history.

Here we have a splendid free Tennis Racket Clip Art Image! This cute picture shows an old Tennis Racket made out of wood, as all rackets were until the late 1960’s. This would have been a very sturdy high quality racket for the times because of its thick handle and shaft along with the laminated head of the racket that you can see from the curved lines drawn on it. This would have required an expert woodworking craftsman to make. More lamination layers produced a stronger racket head for hard hitters to use since it was less likely to crack. This one is a nice black and white Sports Image that was scanned out of an 1880’s Hardware/Household Goods Catalog in my Collection.

Tennis Match ClipArt

This is a fun Vintage Tennis Image pictured above! This black and white silhouette illustration shows two men having a Tennis Match. This one was scanned from a rare Circa 1941/1942 Printer’s Catalog. If you look closely you can see that these men are wearing long pants. Back in the day they did not wear shorts for some reason. That must have been pretty uncomfortable on a scorching hot day!

Tennis People Images

Here is the newest addition to this collection. Shown above is a sweet little girl in a pink dress. She seems a bit too dressed up for a Tennis match! But she seems determined to play.

Featured above is a lovely woman, holding a tennis racket, or it could perhaps be badminton. She’s wearing a beautiful white dress, and has loads of flowers on her hat, as well as a bouquet in her hands. Pretty!

Oh my, how precious is this one! The little girl pictured above looks so adorable in her checkered pattern dress. She’s ready to play tennis and has her racquet in hand!
