Hey, everyone! Sam Poole of Sam Poole Designs, one of our amazing Junk Journal Design Team Members, created a fabulous Garden Tea Party Junk Journal for us this week. As you know, we feature one new Junk Journal project each week created by one of our creative team of artists. Our Design Team Members select from the 100’s of Vintage Image Bundles on our Premium Membership Site, for their creations, in order to show you beautiful ways to use those images. Hello Everyone! My name is Sam Poole and I am so excited to share with you my April Graphics Fairy Design Team project.

You are cordially invited to attend a Garden Tea Party with me! With the weather getting warmer here in the UK, I can’t help but get excited to have tea parties with friends and family outside again.

My starting point for this journal was choosing a color palette consisting of a Teal/Green with pops of Magenta Pink. I then searched for those colors on the Premium Membership site. I came across a gorgeous embossed envelope front from the ‘Pink & Red Ephemera’ bundle and I thought this would make a lovely invitation front. This then this sparked my idea for a Garden Tea Party themed journal.

I was very inspired by the new ‘Secret Garden’ bundle and this gave me the perfect elements to create the Garden side of the tea party theme. I used some of the nature images to collage together with various Tea pots from the ‘Tea Party Images’ bundle.

The base of the journal has been made using a vintage green book cover which I lined inside with a beautiful Teal patterned paper from the ‘Delicate End Papers’ bundle.

Another bundle I really enjoyed using in this journal was the ‘Mini French Ephemera’ bundle. I used many of the ephemera pieces to create journal cards and I just love the color palette of this bundle. Lots of beautiful creams and teal/greens.
