4 Happy Birthday Fruit Images
This collection has a Fruit Happy Birthday theme to it. These are all lovely Vintage images showing different types of fruit. I guess I’ve never really thought about Fruit and Birthdays as going hand in hand, but perhaps there was some significance to this back in the early 1900’s when these cards were made. Anyway, perhaps if you have a fruit loving friend these could be used to create wonderful Handmade Birthday Cards. Or maybe you have a friend that works at an Orchard, or one that loves to make fruit Jams. I have some more of these charming nostalgic cards on the way, so I will be adding to this collection soon.
Happy Birthday Cherries
Here is the latest addition to this collection. I’m back with some more lovely Birthday Fruit. The image above shows some beautiful Black Cherries hanging from the tree. If you look closely you’ll see that this one was highlighted with gold metallics. I think it would be fun to go over these areas with a gold pen to really punch up those highlights on your projects!
Featured above are some gorgeous yellow and red Cherries! I believe these are Rainier Cherries. They are plump and ripe and healthy looking, still on the branch ready to be picked. There are some pretty green leaves surrounding them. The greeting on the card says “Best Wishes to your Birthday”.
Birthday Grapes Image
Featured above is a charming Vintage Birthday postcard, with a perfect bunch of purple/blue grapes. The grapes have large healthy looking leaves on them and you can see a bit of the vine as well. There are some pretty touches of gold metallic on this one too. I think it would be fun to take a metallic gold pen and go over those lines to add some sparkle to it. The sentiment reads “Birthday Greetings”. This one might work well for a Wine loving friend. You could print it out, punch a hole in it, and add some ribbon or twine to it, for a cute gift tag that you tie to a bottle of Wine.
Tree Fruit Image
Isn’t this such a lovely card? In the Vintage picture above, we see some lovely healthy looking tree fruit. I’m not entirely sure if this one is supposed to be a Peach or an Apple. What do you guys think? There are lots of nice bright green leaves on this one and 3 nice looking pieces of fruit that look ready to be picked. This one also has the metallic gold lines on it. The greeting is the same as the one above “Birthday Greetings”. Sometimes simple greetings are the best!

Hi Karen,
All of these are much different than the ones I downloaded the last time. Now, these fruits – they all look so scrumptious! I love the cherries but the same thought came to mind with the luscious grapes! And that is exactly what I intend to do with one of my wine-loving friends!! That is an awesome idea!
As for the Tree Fruit – it could be both – but I’ll say ‘peach,’ today. Tomorrow, it might be ‘apple.’ LOL!
Thanks so much for sharing these with us and have a fabulous Friday and weekend!!

LOL, I am with you Irene, just not sure whether it is an image of a peach or an apple, I like the way you think 🙂 Have a great day!

Karen, I think the last image in your set of 3, are apples. Peaches are smooth on the bottom; those look like apple bottoms. Haha! That just reminded me of that song that was so popular about 12 years ago – Apple Bottom Jeans.

Hi Karen,
These are very pretty – I love the one with the anchor adorned with Forget-Me_Nots and they are such a pretty blue colour! The daisies, ribbon, and greeting all add to that special touch!
The sailboat with the roses is also very pretty!
Thanks so much for sharing these with us and wishing you the very best in this New Year!
