Hopefully will be able to join soon, medicare went up taking all my COLA and then some, so not any better off than was before. Do yourself a favor, make sure you arrive at retirement age with income besides SS. Is very difficult living on just SS and if you have medical problems is even harder as Medicare supplements are not for the patient, they’re for the insurance company.. We have 2 choices for SS supplement, neither one is for patient. Keeps going up and get less every year.

Not that I don’t want to join, have to be so careful about everything I spend. Have had to cut back/out on more and more. Where we live is expensive.
