House Paint Clipart is just so much fun. In this section we have some cute Retro Images from a 1940’s Printer’s book! Shown above is a happy House painter next to a shiny new looking house. Pointing to the cute cottage house, the painter is proudly showing off his work! He is wearing spiffy overalls with a shirt and tie. If you’re doing a painting project on your blog, this might be a fun way to illustrate your post!

Isn’t this Lady Painter fun? Above is a Retro lady painter with a huge paintbrush and pail spilling over with paint. She is wearing a cap to protect her blond curls. There actually weren’t any women painters in the book, so I created one by altering the man. I actually think she’s pretty cute!!Here you see the man painter, also with a paintbrush and pail. I like those high heeled work boots he is wearing with his overalls and long sleeved shirt. He seems to be really happy to go to work! Love it!

Antique Paint Brush Clipart

Above are two fun Antique Paint Brush graphics, used mostly for painting houses! These come from an 1880’s Wholesale Pharmacy catalog. I think these would be great to use on an Art or DIY Blog. Perhaps if you’re having a Painting party you could use them for some fun invites too!

This is a Circa 1880’s Image of a Round Brush. I think it looks like it must be some sort of Paint Brush, it seems quite unusual though!

Nostalgic House Paint Clipart

As long as I can remember I have been hooked on Victorian houses, even as a child. So I am thrilled to be sharing this wonderful painted Victorian lady from an early house painting guide. The guide was put out by the paint manufacturer called “The National Lead Company” as a Suggestion for House Painting scheme. Obviously at the time it was not known that lead paint created a major health hazard! Anyway, the booklet included a paint chip color chart in the back. I love that they included the roof color as well. Make sure you click on the image to see all the beautiful details. This would be so much fun to use in collage or mixed media projects, or perhaps a card for someone who is moving!
