Here’s something that you guys might not know about me, but you may have guessed! I’m not real big on cooking … there … I’ve said it! It’s hard to find a blog these days that doesn’t have loads of beautiful recipes, sometimes it seems like everyone is a master chef but me. Browse around my blog and you won’t find any recipes at all. That’s not to say that I don’t cook. I do. I just don’t love it and I’m not that good at it. I would much rather craft than cook and I suspect that I may not be the only one! That doesn’t mean that I don’t like to eat, because I do! A scary thing for me is when guests stop by and I feel the pressure to produce a decent meal for them. Thankfully Marie Callender’s frozen pies take some of that pressure off! Keeping a Yummy Marie Callender’s Pie in the freezer means I can proudly serve my guests something that I know they will enjoy, and it might even make them forget about the rest of the meal that I served them! Even if you do cook, it’s nice to have tasty frozen dessert option on hand in case guests stop by unexpectedly. Marie Callender’s makes delicious Desserts like Chocolate Satin Pie, Dutch Apple Pie and Coconut Cream Pie. {Serve a rich Chocolatey slice of Marie Callender’s Chocolate Satin Pie to your guests and I guarantee they’ll be delighted!} All of their pies are made with the highest quality ingredients so that they are just as good as homemade, or in my case, much better than homemade! Each of their pies starts with a made from scratch crust and filled with wholesome quality ingredients. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Satin pie. It has a rich chocolate filling and is topped with real chocolate curls! The Dutch Apple is filled with 100% fresh Fuji Apples with brown sugar streusel on top and it’s baked to perfection! The Coconut Cream Pie is filled with creamy Coconut custard and hand garnished with real toasted Coconut! Yum! With the holiday season coming up, you may find that you have more friends and family dropping by than usual. Our adult kids love to stop by with their friends unannounced! It’s a great time to tuck a Marie Callender’s frozen pie or two, away in the freezer so that you are prepared! Marie Calendar’s pies are great, but if you can’t find them in the store, Claim Jumper makes good ones as well. The Marie Calendar’s Corn Bread mix is also really good. You just add water, mix, and bake. Perfect for people who love corn bread but not baking it. I won’t say it’s as good as the corn bread you get in the MC restaurant, but it’s the next best thing.
