12 Sewing Clipart

Today we have a super cute collection of Vintage Sewing Clipart! Included are all kinds of useful items that a seamstress would use in her craft. You will find pictures of Buttons, Pins, Pincushions and Thread. You could use these to make some fun art for your Sewing room walls, or to create a fun gift or Handmade card, for your favorite seamstress friend or family members. Or perhaps just enjoy browsing through these vintage pictures to see what these items looked like in the past. You may find that some of these things bring on a bit of nostalgia!

Retro Pin Cushion Clipart

Pictured above is a cute Retro Image showing some basic Sewing Supplies needed for pretty much any Sewing job! Included are a Pin Cushion, Thimble, Scissors, and Thread, along with some Fabric. This graphic is a version that I added color to. There is a black and white version below that is actually the original one.

 Thread Spools Clipart

Featured above is a set of three Embroidery Supply Images. I was so pleased to find an old Ad in a Circa 1880’s Catalog that contained the graphics which you see above. Included are two spools of Sewing Thread, a French made wooden spool of Darning Silk, and some Crochet and Embroidery Thread called “Oriental Dyes.” The Sewing Thread was made in Watertown, Connecticut, and has the words “Smooth & Strong” written on it. All are such fine images for your Sewing or Craft Room Decor Projects!

Tape Measure Clipart

This is a Vintage Tape Measure Clip Art Image! This one was scanned from a rare Antique Printer’s book that dates to around Circa 1880′s. The tape measure graphic is round and fairly plan and simple, but the detail is really nice on these early Engravings.

Pictured above are three fun Antique Button Graphics from an 1880’s Catalog! Each one has a different design. I find it interesting that these detailed sketches actually generate an impressive Art form of sorts with their unique and intricate designs! All three will be nice to use for your Sewing Themed Projects!

This cute little Dress Form is so fun with its wire cage on the bottom. A must for any sewing room!
