Antique Dental Clipart
Above you see an old print of really cute Japanese Tooth Brushes. They each have a unique floral painting on the handle. The brushes seem rather large compared to today’s. Okay, you may not necessarily think of toothbrushes as being adorable, but these are pretty darned cute!!! It is so cute that I’ve included a hi res Printable PDF for you, so that you can print it up and frame and hang in your bathroom! This one comes from an 1880’s Pharmacy catalog.
This is an antique Druggist Label for some Superior Tooth Wash. I had never heard of this product, which the label claims is for “Cleansing the Teeth and Hardening the Gums.” I am not sure why you want your gums hardened though. The label has a cute ribbon frame that I love. It is the perfect shape for a tag.
Funny Tooth and Dental Clipart
I think these humorous Victorian Scraps are quite unusual. I’ve never seen any like this before! Shown are two Dental office scenes. In the first a Dentist is pulling the tooth of his patient. He is actually standing on the chair arm with his foot pressing on the patient’s chest. Ouch! It is named, “A Strong Pull.” In the second image, they both go tumbling as the tooth is extracted! It is called, “The Result.” This would make a fun card for your favorite Dentist, or some cute art for the wall of a Dental office!
Old Tooth Graphics
The Graphic above is an old advertisement for cigars and shows and odd looking man holding up a sign. I’ve removed the text, so that you can use it as a Label or Tag if you want to. His mouth is wide open showing teeth and tongue. He seems to be shouting. This one comes from an 1870’s Printers book.
These are just adorable! This little pair of drawings show a darling girl and boy brushing their teeth. I especially love their hair dos. They come from a 1914 Children’s book. These would make some fun vintage Bathroom art, or perhaps they could be used on a Children’s Chore chart!
Here we have an unusual Dental image of False teeth. This upper teeth drawing comes from a 1912 typography catalog. It definitely isn’t the most attractive image imaginable!
Vintage Tooth Powder Clip Art
Above is a Free Vintage Illustration of an old Toiletry Bottle! Shown here is an Antique Toothpaste, or rather Tooth and Dental Powder, bottle from Philadelphia. I love the shape of the bottle! At the top there is a small label with an eye on it. I scanned this nostalgic graphic from a Circa 1880’s Department Store catalog! It would make some fun art for a Powder room!
Above is a beautiful Bottle from an Antique Wanamaker’s Catalog! It is a shapely bottle with a fancy label that says it is “The Queen Mary Tooth Wash.” There is also a Queen Mary sticker around the neck of the bottle. It has a lovely cap. I wonder if this was given to guests on the Queen Mary Ocean Liner?
This is a Fun Vintage Tooth Powder Image! I scanned this antique graphic from an old, Circa 1880s, Department Store catalog. I thought this old bottle was a great piece of advertising. Back in the day you could purchase this product for just 25 cents per bottle! Perhaps you could use this to make a fun Handmade card for your favorite Dentist or maybe make some vintage art for your bathroom. So cute!

These are so cool; just love them. I’m going for a dental cleaning today, so I thought this was funny as I’ve never seen vintage dental images before. Thanks!

Hope you have an easy visit at the Dentist Loretta! And yes, some of these pieces are quite rare. My great great grandfather was one of the first U.S. Orthodontists, so they have special meaning to me.
