5 Advertising Cards – Victorian Children
Today I’m offering this very sweet collection of Advertising Cards with Victorian Children. I first offered 3 of the old Tulip Soap advertisements about 4 years ago, and while I was organizing my files recently I found a 4th that I never posted. I must have totally forgotten about it! Each one of these cards was a trade card used to advertise a different product. All of the Tulip cards have fancy looking Victorian Boys and Girls on them, I think they are all meant to be siblings. They are all wearing beautiful garments and are carrying some type of floral bouquet. These would be lovely to tuck into a Junk Journal or to use in Collage or Mixed Media projects.
Victorian Girl Advertising Card
This is a Vintage Boots Ad Image! Shown above is a darling Little Girl! The little girl has her hands in Prayer position. What a sweetie!
Tulip Soap Advertising Cards
This first card is the one that I just scanned to add to this collection. This one shows 2 lovely Victorian girls with long hair. One girl is dressed in pale blue and the other one is dressed in yellow. I love the striped socks that the girl on the left is wearing! These girls, sisters I think, are carrying a big bouquet of Pink Roses. The Tulip Soap brand is shown on the bottom of the card.
Shown above is our second old Trade Card featuring two Victorian children dressed in their finest clothing! I think these two are sister and brother, as the one on the right appears to be wearing a Sailor suit with short pants. They are holding a large Wicker Flower Basket that’s filled with Roses and Daisies.
Next we have 2 very Fancy Victorian Boys! One of the boys is dressed all in pale blue, it looks like silk satin to me … his boots even match! The other boy is dressed in tan, he has a straw hat with a long pink Silk ribbon on it. The boys are holding an ornate vase, that’s filled with Pink Roses, perhaps it’s some type of trophy or award. Maybe it’s an award for being the best dressed!
Shown above is our final old Advertising Card in this series. Although this one does not have the Tulip brand on it. The brand would have been on the card originally, but this one was cut up at some point in time, so we had to correct it in Photoshop to give you a more complete image. This card features two pretty little Girls, with very fancy outfits! The colors coordinate nicely with the other cards in this collection. I love the pretty pastel colors on this one and all the ornate lace! The girl on the left is dressed all in pale blue silk satin, with a giant white Eyelet lace collar. The other girl (sisters I think) is dressed in pink and white. She’s wearing the cutest pink boots! The girls are holding a cornucopia filled with Roses. A nice one to use in your collage or decoupage projects! I hope you enjoyed this pretty nostalgic collection of Tulip Soap Advertising Cards. You can find more of these cards on a similar post found HERE.

Hi Karen,
These are fabulous – but I wonder why they wouldn’t show their advertised products? I also would think they’d have bouquets of tulips instead of roses. LOL! But they are all done so very well! Thank you for sharing these with us and have a fabulous start to the New Year!
Have a wonderful week!!
