4 Thimble Images
Today we have a cute collection of Thimble Images! For those of you who like to sew, you will be charmed by these lovely examples of finger protection. I am truly impressed with the craftsmanship on all of the ones below. Each one displays a splendid, unique pattern. We have a series of three wonderfully ornate Thimbles that have such beautiful, intricate, and fancy designs on them. These were all made in 14k Gold or Sterling Sliver and were priced between one dollar to six dollars. All are nice black and white pictures to use for your Sewing Themed Projects. I think that the collection would also look nice framed and placed on the wall of a sewing room! I wish I had a few of these finely crafted beauties now!
Old Thimble Pictures
Pictured above is a nice Vintage Thimble Image. It is the classic design. Although not fancy, just plain and simple, it is still superbly crafted. It has what appears to be a lined pattern in the lower area with small circular indentations along the top portion. The image comes from an old Farmers Magazine that I love. I actually found this in a December issue. It was appropriately listed as a great gift idea for Ladies! So nice!
Vintage Thimble Clipart
Here we have one in a series of three Vintage Thimble Black and White Graphics from an Antique Catalog! This one is embellished with lovely swirl and sort of leafy acanthus shapes in the lower part. It also is different from the others in the group in that it has fancy geometric pattern on the upper section of it instead of circular indention patterns usually seen. So imaginative I think!
Pictured above is another nice Vintage Thimble Image from an Antique Catalog. This one contains pretty Oval and Swirly patterns in the lower section along with what looks to possibly be Floral type patterns at the very bottom rim. The remainder of the Thimble consists of a small circular pattern, which are indented in the metal. This is definitely another wonderful example of Vintage craftsmanship!
Featured here is another cute Vintage Thimble Graphics from the same Antique Catalog! This one clearly has such fine ornate designs on it as well. As with the others, the upper section displays the typical circular indented pattern. The lower part is adorned with a Fleur de lis design, which of course screams “French!” I love all of the Thimbles but having a French design automatically makes this one my favorite as I love all things French! I would love to use this one.
I hope you enjoyed this fun curated collection of Thimble Clipart!! You might also like the 50+ Images in our Sewing, etc. Archives HERE or the 1020+ Images in our Black and White Clipart archives HERE.

Hi my sweet graphics fairy. I love what you do. I’ve been looking for 3 years. I’ve only printed a few things on fabric, then I’ve made pillows but I want to do allot more. I just need to take the time and do it. You are so amazing to do this for us. I want to thank you in some way, but I haven’t found it yet. I wish I knew more about you. Your favorite colors, what you like. I am reading people refer to scissors grafics or the sewing series. I refer to myself with “Stitches-n-Stuff” so I want to find everything that would fit with that.
Will you please e-mail and could you please tell me what most people print these grafics on. And tell me a little about yourself too.
Thank you tons
Big Hugs

I’m not sure if it’s okay to post my request here, but I can’t find anything that suggests the correct way-my request is for a nice section of toile, perhaps in different colours-you are so good at that!
Thank you kindly in advance!

I love how this adds to what I call “the sewing series”, Karen. I’ve got them all saved, now I just need to start coming up with the ideas for them!
