12 Victorian Curtain Images
Today we have an elegant collection of Victorian Curtain Images! Featured below are some Fancy Victorian Curtains or Draperies! Most are black and white illustrations with fine, intricate detail. These would be fun to use as the background of a themed junk journal or nice in a Doll House! They might work well for a moving card too! I could also envision a set of pillows to make a Victorian décor statement!
Victorian Curtain Images
Featured above is a gorgeous set of four Antique Draped Windows from an old Paris Furniture Catalog! I love the fact that all of them are numbered above the image. The first image is the most simply draped window. The very regal looking second window has a crown topper and a ruched under curtain. It reminds me of a stage curtain. The third window has a very geometrical feel with squared lines. Our final window in this set features an fancy, heavily draped and swagged set of draperies. All panels are fringed.
Above is a Vintage Lace Curtains Clip Art Image! This one was scanned from an Antique, Circa 1860 Ladies Hand Book. The book is filled with all sorts of sewing and embroidery designs! There is a Window with some beautiful Lace Curtains hanging from it! The open weave pattern allows for a good amount of light to filter into the room. Lovely!
Above is a lovely Interior Room scene from a Circa 1854 Godey’s Ladies Book. Featured in this illustration are two tall Windows covered with beautiful tasseled Drapes. A tall Ornate Mirror is hung in between! There are two Frenchy Chairs on either side. Such a lovely scene!!
Victorian Drapery Pictures
Here we have a lovely Vintage Red Drapes Image!! Used as an old Advertising Trade Card, exactly what it was advertising I’m not really sure. It displays some fancy red Curtains framing a Window with a lovely water scene. Such a pretty Victorian piece!
I just adore this French Business Card Image! Featured above is a wonderful piece of Vintage Ephemera. It is the basis for a French Business Card. The card shows a fabulous engraving of a fancy Draped space. Around the Draperies are some lovely Rose Garlands. Such an ornate piece! Text would have been added over the top of this, along with a business name and address.
Victorian Curtain Clip Art
This beautiful Vintage Curtain Emporium Label was scanned from an 1880′s Rubber Stamp Catalog in my collection. Advertising a Curtain shop was its purpose. I love the fancy frame on this one. I’ve included an option without the text, so that you can use it however you like!
Here we have one that would be fun to play with, especially for collage or scrapbooking! Above is a black and white ornate drape panel with a fancy tassel on the end, circa 1850’s. It is very heavy looking and seems to be made of long bullion fringe trimmed into a scalloped shape at top and bottom. Draped over the fringe are four embellishments that look like glass to me. All of the features are hanging from a sturdy curtain rod.
I hope you enjoyed this charming curated collection! You might also like the 100+ Images in our Architecture Archives HERE or the the 1200+ Images in our Black and White Clip Art Archives HERE!

Hi Sharon,
I’m afraid I don’t know. You could print this out in black and white and then color it in by hand.

I’ll use very tiny copies of this image in a tiny “doll’s house for a dolls house”. Do you know if there is a way to change the color to green…using just Microsoft Paint?
