Pine Cone Images
This is a wonderful Free Pine Cone Picture. This lovely Illustration was scanned from an Antique Print. Featured above is a perfect Pine Cone on a pretty branch. The needles look like Spruce to me, they are such a pretty soft blue shade!
This is a detailed drawing of a Pine Cone from an Antique Children’s Encyclopedia! I really like the way this one is drawn. The line work is fun. Its cone scales are fully open and look pink in this illustration.
Shown above is a wonderful Pine Cone sketch! The colorful image shows a pine cone with it cone scales tightly closed. This brings back a fun memory from my childhood. I remember looking for closed pine cones for my mother. She would create a wreath with them and then bake it in the oven so that the scales would expand and open. That way they held tightly to the metal wreath form. Sweet memories!
Pine Branches with Pine Cones Images
Here is a lovely Green Pine Branch with wonderful tiny red Pine Cones! This looks like a Douglas Fir to me, but I could be wrong. Let me know if you are aware of what kind of tree this branch comes from.
Pictured above is another pretty Pine Branch from the Antique Children’s Encyclopedia! This one is quite unusual with the little red and yellow stems. The needles are long on this branch.
Here we have a pretty Old Fashioned Christmas Graphic from the early 1900’s. This one shows a Paper Scroll surrounded by Pine Branches and Pine Cones. There are two versions here – one with a Christmas Greeting and one without.
Featured above is a lovely Natural Looking Pine Tree along with a little clipping! Shown here is one from a 1960’s U.S. Gov pamphlet. I thought this was a unique graphic and quite pretty. Look for the black and white version below.
Black and White Pine Tree Graphic
Here we have the Black and White version of the green Natural Looking Pine Tree in the section above. I love Christmas trees with long needles like the little clipping of a branch!
