3 Vintage Shower Images

This is a marvelous collection of Vintage Shower images! Most of the images below were scanned from another Antique book in my collection, it’s a Circa 1897 catalog full of plumbing supplies and fixtures. There are so many amazing things in this book, the catalog is gigantic! I have to say that I have never seen one of these before in person, in fact I didn’t know that Antique Free Standing Showers even existed in the old days! Anytime that I have seen a shower in an Old House, it had a clawfoot tub under it. And even so, the shower part was usually a newer addition. I would love to know how many homes actually had one of these at the time. At any rate, I think you could make some lovely Wall Decor for a Bathroom, or powder room, with these shower Clipart pictures. This first shower is a fairly simple design. Just a couple of pipes, a shower head and then a pull chain with a ring on the end. There is a drain in the floor and some attractive looking tile on the walls.

Now here is a remarkable looking old fashioned Shower! What a curious looking thing it is too, with all of it’s shiny pipes going around it! And did you notice the huge Shower head? It looks just like the modern Shower Heads that are in style today!
