4 Thanksgiving Kids Images
This is a cute little collection of Vintage Thanksgiving Kids Images. I have several more Antique postcards with this topic theme on the way, (hopefully they get here before the holiday!) so I will be adding more soon. Make sure you keep your eye out for them, as they are all really sweet! In the meantime please enjoy the charming illustrations below. Perhaps they would be cute to use in DIY projects to decorate a Kids Table for your family holiday meal. You could create Napkin holders, placecards , silverware holders etc.
Here is the latest addition to this collection. I’m getting this one in, just in time, as it’s Thanksgiving morning at the time of writing this! Here we have 2 cute little children all dressed in Blue, White and Red Sailor Suits, a very popular Victorian fashion for children. It looks like they have spotted two large Turkeys in the grass. I think the Turkeys have spotted them as well!
In the cute illustrated Vintage Postcard above, we see a little girl dressed in a yellow dress with a blue and white pinafore. She is following behind a lovely large Turkey. Actually she appears to be sneaking up on him! I love the colors on this picture, it appears to be a perfect Fall day, the trees are all ablaze in their Autumn glory and the charming Cottage in the background must have a cozy fire inside, judging by the chimney.
Here’s a quirkyish looking sort of a card. This Vintage Postcard shows a cute little girl dressed in red, with a matching red hat, or scarf on her head. She appears to have pulled off one of her shoes. She has a little bowl of either porridge or gruel, and is feeding it to a gorgeous big white Turkey. He seems quite pleased with the offering, perhaps more so than she is. 😉 I love the expression on her face… she seems quite entertained by the whole thing!

Hi Karen,
In those days, everything relied on simplicity – but they sure made the most of it. I love this and thank you so much for sharing!

I agree Irene, it was a much simpler time…the days of yester years 🙂
