This is a fine old piece of French Ephemera! It is actually the cover to an early catalog that sold ornately framed mirrors. This piece has wonderful typography, and I especially like the word “Paris” in the center and the fancy garlands and ribbon at the top!
Above is a very interesting piece of Ephemera. This one is an old French Tombstone catalog, which is not something that you see everyday! I love the texture and typography. I have a special affinity for the frame surrounding the type on this one. It simply is a gorgeous ornamental design! Perhaps it could be used in your Halloween collages.
Interesting Vintage Book Covers
Here is the Victorian version of Twitter!! This is the cover page to a gorgeous antique Autograph album that I picked up at auction. I love everything about this piece, from the soft muted aqua and cream colors to the fabulous typography, to the pretty Berry laden branches. Hope you like it too!
I have a thing for these early cardboard covered books, as they always have the perfect amount of wear on the corners and edges! This is book is titled “Spirit and Life.” It is an old Church hymnal, and it dates to 1895. I hope you like the orangish sepia tones of this cover as much as I do!
Here’s another one of those old worn cardboard covered books that I just adore! The rusty colors and the age of the edges make this one outstanding. It has the title “The Gem of Gems.” It is a collection of sacred songs for Sunday schools. It looks to be the size of an old Autograph book. How fun!

Here is the latest addition to this collection. Here’s a lovely Green embossed cover. There is an oval cut out that shows a girl looking wistfully out of the window. I left the distressing on the corners as I liked the aged look of it!
This is a very sweet book cover from a tiny bird book that I own. You can see many of the pages on this Bird and Poem Ephemera post HERE. I love the deep blue color and the gold writing!

Pictured above is a gorgeous piece of Vintage Ephemera! This is an old (circa 1906) Theater booklet from the Lyric theatre. It shows a woman dressed in a long, flowing gown strumming a large harp. I thought the colors and the theatrical looking woman were fantastic. A fun piece for you to play with in your art!
