14 Vintage Reward of Merit Cards
This is a collection of sweet Vintage Reward of Merit Cards! These cards were meant to be used to Reward good works, or good behavior, of children, either at school or church. Each one is a darling little piece of Ephemera that would be lovely to use in Junk Journals or Collage work, but they could also be used as their original intended purpose. You could print these out and use them as reward cards for kids. If you are a homeschooling Mom, these might be fun to use as incentives. Most of these have a spot where you can write in the child’s name, as well as the name of the person presenting the reward.
Vintage Reward Cards with Flowers
Shown above is a a lovely arrangement of Pink and White Flowers in a Glass bowl. I’m guessing this one would have been awarded to a little girl.
Featured above is a really lovely Card with a branch of Pink Blossoms and green leaves on it. There is a muted background, that has a monochromatic stripe on it. So pretty!
This is the newest edition to this collection! This pretty prize card shows some quaint cottages framed up with pretty pink blossoms. Such a charming scene!
This dear little card is from the 1880’s. This one has a tiny little Flower Fairy on it, she’s wearing a Pink Morning Glory!
This is a Beautiful Vintage Shabby Roses Card, that doubles as a reward of merit and a souvenir! This pretty card features Pink Roses and a delicate scalloped paper edge. I love the soft muted tones on this one.
This is a Marvelous Country Primitive Cherubs Image! This card is adorned with 2 Cherubs and a lovely Basket of Flowers. Such a sweet old fashioned piece.
Reward of Merits with children
The first Reward of Merit card, in this section, shows a sweet young girl in the woods. She’s collecting some branches from the trees. This would be a nice one to give to a child after a camping trip!
Next we have this cute card, that coordinates with the one above. Perhaps this is her brother. He’s on a farm and has a branch of pretty pink blossoms and a picnic basket.
I’m not entirely sure if this one is a true reward card, but it has the same sort of style to it, minus the place where you add the child’s name. This one shows 2 darling girls and a beautiful white Swan. love the fancy blue and gold frame on this one as well. The greeting is “Childhood Happy Days”.
This next card has 2 more cute little girls, the older one has a White Dove perched on her hand. This one has a very fancy frame around it.
Children’s Reward Cards with Fairies
Next we have a wonderful Fairy, “Queen of the insects”, dressed in a Rosebud ball gown and holding court with 2 Beetles! This one has a gorgeous faux bois ornate frame around it.
Next we have this Delightful Vintage Garden Fairy Image! This is a charming Antique Reward of Merit card with a picture shows a pretty Fairy in a blue dress, she appears to be walking through a Rose Garden.
Reward Cards with Animals
Shown above is an Antique Card showing a cute little White Dog, he looks like a Terrier to me, in a circular frame. The “presented” section is quite ornate, all done in blue and gold and appearing as though it were a drape on a rod.
And lastly I’m sharing this Vintage Animal Reward Certificate Image! This is a Reward of Merit Certificate that has an Anteater, Elephant, and Antelope printed on it. There is also a little boy pulling a tot in a wagon, and some pretty Roses along the edge. I hope you enjoyed this charming collection of these Antique Reward of Merits!
