I’m stop #10 and I’m so glad you stopped by!
Welcome to our Christmas House Tour! Let’s get started shall we? Come right on in!
This year I did our Living Room all in white and silver. I love how these tones look with the charcoal gray walls in there. I used some of the same pieces in here last year, but moved things around and reconfigured them and then added a few new things as well. You may recall the Faceted Mercury Glass bowls that I made last year and the Glitter Pine Cones that I created as well.
Last year I did wreaths on this mirror, this year I moved the feathered Angel Wings on to them. I think they look so pretty!
I picked these mercury glass orbs up at Home Goods. Don’t look too close or you’ll see me, and my paint covered yoga pants, in them!
I have Ironstone all over the house, a few pieces ended up here on our coffee table. The pillow came from T.J. Maxx, I love the sparkly bits on it!
This flocked tree was in our Family Room last year, I decided to put it in the Living room this year instead since it went so well with the white and silver theme in here. You may recall the Stenciled Snowflake Burlap Garland that I made last December.
And the Glitter Frame Ornaments from last year as well, using some of my vintage graphics.
The book page Butterfly Ornaments are new for this year. I’ll be sharing a Tutorial on how to make them soon!
These are the Wire Brush Trees that I created previously, I thought they looked cute in this glass container.
My big splurge was this printed Deer Canvas with Flowers and a Peacock Blue Background! I purchased it at The Design House at Lucketts and I did the whole room around it. I just had to have it and I love it!!
I added some rustic looking candlesticks that I’ve had for awhile, and a few real Deer Antlers, that I actually found in a dumpster!
I love all the petals on this pretty pillow!
I placed a pair of gilded wreaths (also HomeGoods) on the Antique Wooden Cabinet that houses our TV.
I just used some over the door glittery wreath hangers from the Dollar Store to hang them, it made it super quick and easy!
Here you can see the Painted Peacock Ornaments that I made, I just posted the Tutorial last week. I also created some Gold glittery Reindeer Ornaments to go with the Canvas Print. You can find that Tutorial HERE.
I placed a few small Moss Orbs to this little Vignette for some color. You can find a Tutorial for making some Large Moss Orbs HERE.
Now we are entering the kitchen! I’m so glad our Kitchen Renovation was done in time for us to enjoy it during the Holidays!
I kept it really simple in here. I hung a pretty preserved Boxwood Wreath in the window and changed out the liquid soap to green as well. Sometimes little things like that make such a big difference!
The Vintage Champagne Buckets were treated to a couple of oversized mercury glass ornaments, I thought they made great Orbs!
I wanted something fun and festive to display in my glass cabinets, so I created these Mugs that spell out the word JOY. I used the same process that I used last year, with the Snowflake Mugs that I made, only I used letter stencils instead. I love how easy these were and you can customize them to say anything that you like!
Of course if you have less shelf space, you could display them all together like this.
I kept things a little more simple in the Dining Room this year too. The theme here was gold and green.
If you look closely you can see the Book Page Chargers and matching Book Page Napkin Rings that I created for our Dining Room table. I really like how they they look with a few bits of natural greenery from our yard.
Here are a few more Preserved Boxwood pieces. I picked the wreaths up at Save On Crafts and they were a great price, compared to some other places that I’ve seen them. The beautiful Gold Venetian Trays were a flea market find at The Lucketts Spring Market this year.
I hope you enjoyed this Christmas Tour of our Home! Click HERE to hop on over to my pal Gina’s blog next to see her lovely Cottage all decked out for the Holiday Season as well! Also, I’m linking up to The Nester’s Christmas Tour of Homes!

I adore that Deer Canvas! So so pretty. I had the pleasure of going to Lucketts when I took my long ride to MD to see Cassie’s Hometalk Halloween Hunt, where I also met you.
Your house is so pretty and I really enjoyed your stunning Christmas tour. I want a flocked tree so badly. I love yours!
Karen Watson says
Thanks so much Julia!! I hope you enjoyed your time at Lucketts, it really is an amazing place! You’ll have to come back in May for the Lucketts Spring Market! So fun!
Leena Lanteigne says
Hi Karen! Your home looks gorgeous! I love the color palette in the living room with the grey, silver and white! I’ve been thinking of using a similar palette in our master bedroom and have had the grey chair in your family room on my wish list for a while now. Are you happy with it? Is it comfy? I think it’s just beautiful! I love those little bleached blonde trees! So cute! I need to find some. I just thought they came that way! I never knew you could bleach them until I read your tutorial! So cute! Thank you for sharing your lovely home and all of your wonderfully creative ideas! Merry Christmas! Hugs, Leena
Karen Watson says
Thank you so much Leena!! So sorry I’m just now responding sweet friend, somehow I missed a bunch of comments here! As far as that little gray chair goes, don’t buy it!! Seriously! It’s not comfortable at all! It looks super cute with a pillow on it, and is great for display, I suppose in a pinch you could use it for a guest if you needed extra seating, but it’s hard as a rock! I ordered it, actually 2 of them, from one of my vendors, from when I had my shop, so I didn’t get to try them out before hand. So there’s my honest review! Haha! Merry Christmas to you too!
Kristen says
Oh my goodness, every detail is gorgeous!! That charcoal room with the silver tones is just to die for!! And I adore your flocked tree! Everything is just flawless. Merry Christmas!
Karen Watson says
Thank you so much for your super sweet comment Kristen!! Merry Christmas to you too!
Carena Ennis says
trying to read all the comments, if you have all ready commented on the angel wings could you do it one more time??? Where or what type of shop were they at?
Karen Watson says
Hi Carena, If you mean the white feathered ones, I got those at Old Lucketts Store, just outside of Leesburg, VA, last year. I don’t know if they carried them this year, you can check out their online shop at luckettstore.com , if they don’t have them, I would try Google, I don’t think they are too hard to find online.
Lulu says
LOVE all of the blues and grays. So beautiful.
Question: do you know the name of the artist who painted the deer painting? I am completely obsessed but haven’t had any luck figuring out who the artist might be.
Happy Christmas!!
Karen Watson says
Thanks Lulu! It’s actually a print on Canvas, not an original painting. I got it at Old Lucketts Store, Luckettstore.com , in Virginia, at their Design House.
Happy Christmas to you too!
Melissa @ DaisyMaeBelle says

Karen, thanks so sharing (apparently one of your gifts) your beautiful home and many talents. Seeing your home certainly explains your “graphic fairy” sucess.
I really honed in on some of my favorites. My business was “tapestry and topiaries” thus some of the eye candy I loved were your preserved bxwood topiaries and wreaths, the moss balls, the little decorated deer on the gorgeous green tree with awsome ornaments, the snowy branches with the mercury glass orbs( which I collect)-also had an antique business.I absolutely LOVE GRAPHICS FAIRY.I see it usuallyseveral times and take advantage of your tutorials. I joined pinterest on your sweet advice–just haven’t gotton far. Need help, but I will find it.
You have become a good friend! thanks from the heart,
sandie
Karen Watson says

Jen says
Love your home! Picked up some great ideas while enjoying the photos. Where did the wood (?) pedestal on your dining room table come from? I love the contrast of the green moss deer to the wood.
Karen Watson says
Thanks Jen! That pedestal came from Lucketts Store, just outside of Leesburg, VA. It’s not a one of kind though, and I have seen others at antique shows and other shops, so you might be able to find one local to you.
