I’m stop #10 and I’m so glad you stopped by!
Welcome to our Christmas House Tour! Let’s get started shall we? Come right on in!
This year I did our Living Room all in white and silver. I love how these tones look with the charcoal gray walls in there. I used some of the same pieces in here last year, but moved things around and reconfigured them and then added a few new things as well. You may recall the Faceted Mercury Glass bowls that I made last year and the Glitter Pine Cones that I created as well.
Last year I did wreaths on this mirror, this year I moved the feathered Angel Wings on to them. I think they look so pretty!
I picked these mercury glass orbs up at Home Goods. Don’t look too close or you’ll see me, and my paint covered yoga pants, in them!
I have Ironstone all over the house, a few pieces ended up here on our coffee table. The pillow came from T.J. Maxx, I love the sparkly bits on it!
This flocked tree was in our Family Room last year, I decided to put it in the Living room this year instead since it went so well with the white and silver theme in here. You may recall the Stenciled Snowflake Burlap Garland that I made last December.
And the Glitter Frame Ornaments from last year as well, using some of my vintage graphics.
The book page Butterfly Ornaments are new for this year. I’ll be sharing a Tutorial on how to make them soon!
These are the Wire Brush Trees that I created previously, I thought they looked cute in this glass container.
My big splurge was this printed Deer Canvas with Flowers and a Peacock Blue Background! I purchased it at The Design House at Lucketts and I did the whole room around it. I just had to have it and I love it!!
I added some rustic looking candlesticks that I’ve had for awhile, and a few real Deer Antlers, that I actually found in a dumpster!
I love all the petals on this pretty pillow!
I placed a pair of gilded wreaths (also HomeGoods) on the Antique Wooden Cabinet that houses our TV.
I just used some over the door glittery wreath hangers from the Dollar Store to hang them, it made it super quick and easy!
Here you can see the Painted Peacock Ornaments that I made, I just posted the Tutorial last week. I also created some Gold glittery Reindeer Ornaments to go with the Canvas Print. You can find that Tutorial HERE.
I placed a few small Moss Orbs to this little Vignette for some color. You can find a Tutorial for making some Large Moss Orbs HERE.
Now we are entering the kitchen! I’m so glad our Kitchen Renovation was done in time for us to enjoy it during the Holidays!
I kept it really simple in here. I hung a pretty preserved Boxwood Wreath in the window and changed out the liquid soap to green as well. Sometimes little things like that make such a big difference!
The Vintage Champagne Buckets were treated to a couple of oversized mercury glass ornaments, I thought they made great Orbs!
I wanted something fun and festive to display in my glass cabinets, so I created these Mugs that spell out the word JOY. I used the same process that I used last year, with the Snowflake Mugs that I made, only I used letter stencils instead. I love how easy these were and you can customize them to say anything that you like!
Of course if you have less shelf space, you could display them all together like this.
I kept things a little more simple in the Dining Room this year too. The theme here was gold and green.
If you look closely you can see the Book Page Chargers and matching Book Page Napkin Rings that I created for our Dining Room table. I really like how they they look with a few bits of natural greenery from our yard.
Here are a few more Preserved Boxwood pieces. I picked the wreaths up at Save On Crafts and they were a great price, compared to some other places that I’ve seen them. The beautiful Gold Venetian Trays were a flea market find at The Lucketts Spring Market this year.
I hope you enjoyed this Christmas Tour of our Home! Click HERE to hop on over to my pal Gina’s blog next to see her lovely Cottage all decked out for the Holiday Season as well! Also, I’m linking up to The Nester’s Christmas Tour of Homes!
