11 Cigar Box Label Images
Today we have a beautiful collection of Cigar Box Label Images! The old fashioned Ephemera pieces are bright and colorful. We have a gorgeous Crown with deep, rich colors, a Dainty Lady with a tiny Cupid, and a sweet Shaggy Dog guarding a cigar box. There are a few Labels with Beautiful Women, some even napping. These are nice for Collage or Mixed Media art pieces, or perhaps to add to a pretty box!
Cigar Box Label Images
I picked up this gorgeous crown at my local antique mall. I just love the bright, beautiful colors!! I’m not sure what this came from originally; perhaps a cigar box? It looks to have been pasted into a scrapbook at one point and then cut out. Unfortunately the cutting job was not the best. I’ve included two versions, with the original at the bottom and one with the crown on the blue background at the top.
Vintage Cigar Box Label
I’m so happy to share this pretty Vintage Cigar Box Label Image! Featured above is an old Cigar label featuring a lovely young woman with a big hat plus red and white striped dress. She is framed up by some Morning Glories. If you look closely you can see a little cupid, arrows and all, hiding in the flowers! Such a fun old fashioned piece!
Old Cigar Box Labels with Animals
Pictured above is an old cigar label that has a sweet shaggy dog on it. He appears content sitting on top of a chest. Could he be protecting the cigars? The beautiful typography says, “Old Reliable” and it appears to be from Cuba as it also says “Habana.”
This next label has a ferocious looking Tiger on it! There is a lovely tropical scene surrounding him as well as a gold oval frame. Such a fun piece of Ephemera!
Beautiful Women Cigar Box Labels
Here we have such a beautiful Vintage Sleeping Lady Image!! Shown above is a pretty lady with long wavy hair. She has fallen asleep and, according to the caption, is taking a “Short Nap.” This one was also probably from an old Cigar Box and has a great oval shape.
Above is a an Antique Advertising Label. I am guessing it’s for cigars, although since I only have the label and not the box I can’t say for sure. Featured is a lovely young woman in a fancy pink dress, holding a tiny bouquet of flowers. She is napping in a beautiful garden, resting against a beautiful concrete fence column. The title “Sleeping Beauty” in a beautiful blue type is above the image. I like the cloudy shaped edges of this one and the beautiful dark blues in the background and foreground. So Pretty!
Cigar Ad Image
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This one is an ad that shows the whole box, with the art work on the lid. Very pretty!
Featured above is an old Typography Sample for a Wholesale Cigar company. The sample is from a rare early 1900’s Printer’s book! This one has such a great Steampunk Style look to it! I think this would make a great Sign for a Bar!
Chewing Tobacco Labels
This round chewing tobacco label has a deep royal blue center surrounded by a thin black border with brown and peach pinstripes. The fancy typography reads “ECLIPSE” in a medium brown color with drop shadow and highlights. The center of the label depicts an eclipse of a brown sun with tiny brown rays coming from the image. Such a striking looking piece!
Blank Label
Here is the latest addition to this collection. This next one is blank, but you could add your own text to make it fit your project. I think the red flowers are so lovely!

Thank you so much for this collection. My grandmother and grandfather had an in home cigar business (Percoco Cigars) in Somerville, MA. They made stogies. My mom told stories about packing the cigars when she was three years old (she was born in 1928, youngest of 4 kids) and how the kids would have to run upstairs when the “inspectors” came. I loved watching my grandparents roll the cigars on the rare occasions we visited them during the work week. The Perkins Cigar box you share brought back the memories, Perkins was a familiar name from that time. Thanks again.
